To select an icon, Click on the Buddy Icon. You should get a confirmation message. Click "OK." If this doesn't work, follow the directions at the bottom of the page.

How to select your buddy icon

PC
1. Drag the image you want to be your buddy icon to your desktop, or save to your desktop.
2. On your buddy list click on People and highlight select buddy icon
Under "Images to use for buddies," scroll up to *My Buddy Icon* and click on it.
Then click on Browse PC and select "desktop" next to "Look in:"
Once there click on the icon you wish to use, then press select
Finally go to the bottom of the window and click ok.

Macintosh
1. Drag the image you want to be your buddy icon to your desktop, or save to your desktop.
2. On the menu, click on Edit and highlight preferences
3. Under the category listing, select Buddy Icons, then click Reveal Icons Folder.
4. The folder will pop up, then copy your buddy icon into that folder.
5. Then under My Buddy Icon, select your new icon from the dropdown list and click ok.
