(New York – August 2, 2011) Platinum-selling singer, songwriter and musician Gavin DeGraw has been selected as VH1’s featured “Posted” artist for the month of August, with his video “Not Over You” currently in “Gung Ho” rotation.
VH1’s “Posted” connects artists and fans by offering exclusive behind the scenes content and chances to interact with some of the most talented artists in the music industry today as they’re going about their day-to-day, be it on the tour bus or in bed! Previously featured "Posted" artists include Jason Derulo, 30 Seconds to Mars, Adam Lambert, and The Script.
Gavin has had a long standing history with VH1, previously serving as an Ambassador for their charity organization “Save The Music.” The network recently premiered his brand new video for his single “Not Over You” on VH1’s live morning show “Big Morning Buzz Live” and simultaneously on VH1.com.

SWEETER, Gavin’s fourth album, available September 20th, finds Gavin co-writing for the first time in his career on a few of the album tracks, including his work with fellow piano player and master helmer/writer Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote and produced the album’s first single “Not Over You,” and the title track “Sweeter,” as well as with Andrew Frampton (The Script, Natasha Bedingfield). Gavin also worked with a host of top-notch producers including Butch Walker (Weezer, Avril Lavigne), Eric Rosse (Sara Bareilles, Tori Amos) and Ron Aniello (Barenaked Ladies, Matt Nathanson).
Gavin first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold more than a million copies, earned platinum certification and yielded three hit singles: “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through” and the title-track, “Chariot.” Gavin’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning Gavin his first Top 10 album. It spawned the hit singles “In Love With A Girl,” and the gold-certified “We Belong Together.” In 2009, Gavin released Free as a gift to his die-hard fans clamoring for recorded versions of Gavin’s live favorites.
