HOT CHELLE RAE TO RELEASE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ALBUM “WHATEVER” NOVEMBER 29 ON RCA RECORDS

November 16, 2011 — New York, NY — Riding high with the success of their two irresistible pop singles “Tonight Tonight” and “I Like It Like That,” and their eagerly awaited new album WHATEVER set for release November 29th, Hot Chelle Rae will be performing at two charity concert events in the coming weeks to support anti-bullying initiatives, one in New York City at the famed and sold out Z100’s Jingle Ball ’11 on December 9,  and the other in Las Vegas at Southwest Career and Technical Academy, a high school that showed the largest commitment to combating bullying in Southern Nevada.

Ryan Follese of Hot Chelle Rae says: “We are stoked to be part of such cool concert events, particularly during this holiday season and at such an exciting time in our lives. Our music is all about having fun and feeling good about being yourself and being an individual, so we are naturally excited about these opportunities to support kids who deal with these issues everyday.”

The first anti-bullying concert event will be held on November 21st in Las Vegas, Nevada, a partnership between radio station KLUC and R&R Partner’s Foundation’s “Flip The Script” campaign where Hot Chelle Rae will be performing a concert at Southwest Career and Technical Academy, the winning school just announced today. Southwest Career and Technical Academy showed the biggest commitment to combat bullying. All middle and high schools in all of Clark County participated in this awareness campaign to quash bullying in their area schools. R&R Partners, together with partner organizations throughout Nevada, have created a campaign to provide resources to parents, students and educators on how to combat bullying in Nevada. In addition to a variety of print and broadcast materials, the campaign has designed curriculum for implementation by the Clark County School District during an annual “Week of Respect” as declared by Governor Sandoval.

On December 9, Hot Chelle Rae will be performing to a sold out crowd alongside the star-studded line up which includes Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, David Guetta, LMFAO, Foster the People, and Gym Class Heroes at New York’s Madison Square Garden. This year’s Z100’sJingle Ball ‘11 official charity partner is STOMP Out Bullying, ™ a national anti-bullying/cyberbullying program for kids and teens. It is the signature program of Love Our Children USA™ which, since 1999, has been the national nonprofit leader and ‘go-to’ prevention organization fighting all forms of violence and neglect against children in the U.S. Z100’s Jingle Ball ‘11 will air on Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company exclusively on December 18 at 7 p.m. ET. This will be the second year music fans across the country will have the opportunity to experience the highly anticipated annual event on television.

2011 American Music Award Nominees for “Sprint New Artist of the Year,” Hot Chelle Rae are set to release their highly-anticipated new album WHATEVER on November 29th on RCA Records. WHATEVER features their two hit singles “Tonight Tonight” and “I Like It Like That, produced and co-written by topnotch collaborators Emanuel Kiriakou (Jason Derulo, Selena Gomez), Evan Bogart (Adam Lambert, Rihanna), S*A*M & Sluggo (Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes) and up-and-coming production trio Andrew Goldstein, Dan Book, and Alexei Misoul.  Declared “one of the catchiest pop-rock anthems of the summer” by USA Today, “Tonight Tonight” crashed into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July, shot to No. 1 at Hot AC radio in September, and was certified double-platinum in the U.S., and platinum in Canada and Australia. Their brand new single “I Like It Like That,” which Entertainment Weekly called “bubbly elasti-funk” and an “official fall-resisting battle cry” and their documentary-style video racked up over 1 million views in its first 3 days on VEVO. Watch it here. Other album highlights include quirky break-up song “Honestly,” be-yourself anthem “Beautiful Freaks,” finger-snapper “Radio” (featuring rising rapper Bei Maejor), as well as heartfelt tracks like “Keep You With Me” and “Why Don’t You Love Me,” which features pop solo artist Demi Lovato.  Nashville pop foursome Hot Chelle Rae is lead singer/guitarist Ryan Follese, lead guitarist Nash Overstreet, bassist Ian Keaggy and drummer Jamie Follese. www.hotchellerae.com
