The historic Don Strange Ranch in Boerne, Texas provided a fitting setting for troubadour Ray LaMontagne and his band, the Pariah Dogs. Culminating the tour celebrating their latest album, God Willin & The Creek Don't Rise, the group performed in the ranch's beautiful Kendall Creek Barn before a crowd of four hundred fans who came from all corners of the country to attend.

“I was really pleased when we walked in,” said Ray LaMontagne of his Artists Den venue, “I think everybody felt like it would be a special place to make some music.”

In August 2010, the band released the critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Digital Album chart. This marked a personal sales best for Ray and tied his debut chart position at #3 with Gossip in the Grain. The single, “Beg Steal or Borrow” became Ray’s first radio #1 on the AAA BDS and Mediabase. The Associated Press called the album “one of the year’s best,” while the New York Daily News’ 5 star review said the album is “one of the stand out releases of the year.” In addition to winning Best Contemporary Folk Album for God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, the album also garnered nominations for the coveted Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow” as well as Best Engineered Album. The band heads out on the road again for a nationwide summer tour beginning May 25th in Waterbury, CT.
