ROD STEWART PERFORMING LIVE ON HSN, OCTOBER 9TH

(St. Petersburg, FL) -- International superstar, rock icon and J Records recording artist Rod Stewart will debut his latest album, Fly Me to The Moon…The Great American Songbook: Volume V, exclusively with interactive, multichannel retailer HSN when he performs live during a one-hour primetime special titled “Rod Stewart Live in Concert Presented by Sprint and HTC” this Saturday, October 9 at 8 p.m. (ET). During the live special, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy™ Living Legend recipient will croon iconic songs from the Great American Songbook.

Rod Stewart adds, “I am absolutely in love with these incredible songs on my new album and cannot wait to get out there and perform them live. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.”

(RCA Records) which came out on September 14th and debuted at #4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The band will kick off the tour on October 19th in Boston followed by a performance on October 22nd at the CMJ College Buyer’s Lounge and continue through November 12th with special guest Runner Runner.

Currently touring on Mike Posner’s Up In The Air Tour and fresh off their tour with Chiddy Bang as well as the MTV VMA tour with Never Shout Never and The Ready Set, the video from 2AM Club’s first single “Worry About You” made a big impact at MTV and MTVU. Billboard called the song an “undeniably catchy tune" while the Los Angeles Times says 2AM Club has a “soulful sound with sharp pop hooks.”

Palladia, MTV Networks’ high-definition music channel will air the special on Sunday, October 10 at 7:30 PM ET/PT.

“The Making of GUITAR HEAVEN…” features Santana’s live performances from a “one-night only” special event at his Las Vegas residency show where Chris Daughtry joined the legendary Santana band on stage on “Photograph” (Def Leppard), India.Arie on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” (The Beatles), and Gavin Rossdale on “Bang A Gong” (T.Rex), all songs featured on GUITAR HEAVEN….
