HipHopDX Interviews T-Pain

T-Pain sat down for an interview with HipHopDX.com! He talks about his song "5 O'Clock" with Lily Allen, his freestyle with comedian Kevin Hart and his Nappy Boy label. When asked why he named his album rEVOLVEr, Pain says that "Basically, it’s just don’t judge a book by its cover. Usually, when people hear the name of the album’s rEVOLVEr, they’ll think of guns and violence and stuff like that, then when you see the title, you see it’s all about evolution and evolving and getting better. Life+Times Interviews Elle Varner

Elle Varner sat down with Life+Times online for an interview. She discusses what it was like growing up with parents in the music industry, the inspiration behind her single "Only Wanna Give It To You" and what it was like working with J.Cole. When talking about writing all of her own music, Elle says, "Before writing was just something I did out of passion and a need to get my emotions and feelings out. Now that I’m a professional, quote un quote, it’s a different process. There are deadlines and demands that need to be met. Writing is the glue between yourself and your song. For me it’s all about finding how to still be creative and pure with music, while adapting to the idea that writing is a job."
