The Father of Chicago Blues- Sonny Boy Williamson's music survives into the modern times. These songs were adapted by Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, B.B. King, john Lee Hooker, Little Walter and their progeny as well - Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers and many other rock legends. Sonny is considered by many as the real "Father of Chicago Blues," and credited for making the harmonica a "lead" instrument.
