(Los Angeles, CA – October 1st, 2021) – Irish pop newcomer Robert Grace releases his new single “Break The Silence” along with the music video via Sony Music Germany/RCA Records. Watch HERE. Robert Grace is known for his straightforward, tongue-in-cheek tracks that often tackle issues many people experience, but rarely talk about openly. His hit single “Fake Fine” from last year, his most recent track “Self feat. Emma Steinbakken”, as well as other songs like “The Hurt You Gave Me” have garnered him tens of millions of plays on Spotify, millions of YouTube views, 1.9 million TikTok followers and a dedicated Instagram community.
For this track, Robert Grace teamed up with Red Triangle (KSI, YUNGBLUD, Green Day) virtually (in true pandemic fashion), recording his vocals in his home studio, while the British songwriting and production team put the finishing touches on it from their home base. Opening up with an urban pop beat, “Break the Silence” tells the very relatable tale of a toxic relationship coming to an end, and its aftermath – when you know you shouldn’t be calling the other person, but you still do, because loneliness has gotten the better of you or you’ve had too much to drink.
His cheery and encouraging tracks about experiences ranging anywhere from ordinary thoughts and feelings of inferiority or self-doubt, to more exceptional subjects like mental illness, are always served with a good portion of comforting humor. It’s a concept so unique, one might call it Robert Grace’s trademark approach to music. His newest single “Break the Silence” is no exception to the rule.
Robert’s first track for Sony Music Germany/RCA Records was ‘Fake Fine’ which went platinum in Ireland, spent five weeks at No 1 on both the Irish Homegrown charts and the Shazam Ireland Charts. Over the past number of months Robert has collaborated and written with artists and writers like gnash, KIDDO, KIN, Jamie Hartman (Rag N’ Bone Man), and Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran).
Robert is an accomplished live performer and has performed at Ireland’s leading festivals including Electric Picnic and Indiependence. He was also selected to perform at ESNS in January and at The Great Escape in May. He has a headline gig booked at Dublin’s prestigious ‘Academy’ venue for Friday November 5th as part of an extensive Irish Tour. Robert will be announcing German, UK & other European dates in due course.
