The Wind And The Wave Set To Release Covers One Ep On February 17th

RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “YOU’VE GOT TIME” AVAILABLE HERE

SET TO TOUR WITH SAINTS OF VALORY

(New York, New York) – Austin based duo The Wind and The Wave (Patricia Lynn and Dwight Baker) are set to release Covers One EP on February 17th. The 7 track EP will feature specially arranged covers of Sia’s “Chandelier,” R. Kelly’s “Ignition,” Metric’s “Gold Guns Girls,” Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen,” Regina Spektor’s “You’ve Got Time” and two tracks that were recorded for ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” and Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me).”

In support of the EP, The Wind and The Wave have released a music video for their cover of “You’ve Got Time” on VEVO. Click here to check out the video. Paying homage to the opening credits for Orange is the New Black, the video turns the tables by using animals from The Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption Center as well as Georgia English Bulldog Rescue to raise awareness for a cause near and dear to their hearts.

The group is also excited to announce they will be hitting the road with Saints of Valory starting in Minneapolis, MN on February 20th and culminating in Dallas, TX on March 12th. The band is also confirmed to play at this year’s SXSW. Their new single, “It’s A Longer Road To California Than I Thought” impacts radio this week.
