[New York, NY – December 9, 2022] Today, Dominican-Italian songstress, YEИDRY, releases a new version of her Dominican dembow-inspired buzzing single “KI-KI” featuring ENNY via Sony Music Latin/RCA Records. The track mixes various styles, cultures and languages and it reflects YEИDRY’s very essence. With the addition of ENNY on this latest version of the song, the London rapper adds her raw bars and personal flare to the upbeat track. The term “ki ki” is an abbreviation of “Juaniquiqui” which in Dominican slang refers to money.

Back in May of this year, YEИDRY released the original version of the single and video for “KI-KI” – click here to watch. The striking visual was directed by YEИDRY, Christopher Hesketh, Becky Hern, and choreographed by Simrin Player (Justin Bieber, Shakira). The video opens with an unapologetic and carefree YEИDRYwho we see blocking incoming calls while allowing herself to sit back and enjoy her life. The visuals then follow her as she dances on the street letting go of the pressures that come with being a hard-working woman.
YEИDRY has been busy this past year. She embarked on a Soho House Rising / “KI-KI” Launch Tour that stopped in places such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Paris and more. She also performed at Afropunk in Miami, Rumbaz Festival in Las Vegas Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, andLollapalooza Paris. YEИDRY continued to step into the fashion world and attended front row at the Jean Paul Gaultier, Acne Studio and Kenzo shows during Paris Fashion Week. She was also a pillar during Latin Billboard Week in various discussion and events and most recently was a part of NPR Music’s 15th anniversary event in Washington DC.

YEИDRY is a singer-songwriter who grew up in the Dominican Republic and Italy. She grew up with 90’s pop R&B, traditional Latin music and electronic music. She refers to herself as a ‘cultural mix’ with the last two years consisting of her travelling, experimenting with different musical styles and writing stories about her experiences, childhood and her mother’s life. Her introduction into the music industry was as the lead singer of a Jazz/Electronic band in Italy before embarking on her solo project in Jan 2019. She then signed to RCA/ Sony Latin/ Mushroom Music Group for recording & Warner Chappell for Publishing. In 2021 YEИDRY had a breakout year collaborating with J. Balvin, Damian Marley, Mozart La Para and Emotional Oranges in addition to making her major U.S festival debut at Austin City Limits. YEИDRY performed alongside some of her biggest inspirations, R&B icon Mary J. Blige and the incredible Jazmine Sullivan, at the iconic Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, as part of YouTube’s ad week. Just before the year closed, her single “YA” was named one of Barack Obama’s Top Songs of 2021.
This year has seen YEИDRY nominated as best new Female Artist for the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro. She has released singles “Mascarade,” with Lous and the Yukuza, the dance floor anthem “KI-KI” and “Love Is Not Hard To Find” for Amazon’s hit animation Hotel Transylvania 4. YENDRY returned to the stage post-covid and made her debut appearances at Lollapalooza Paris, Montreux Jazz Festival, Rumbazo Las Vegas and Superbloom Festival, Munich. YEИDRYhas continued to grow in the fashion world and was front row at the Jean Paul Gaultier, Acne Studio Show and Kenzo during Paris Fashion Week, alongside her contemporaries Kanye West, Tyler the Creator, J. Balvin and Pharrell. She also attended front row alongside Serena Williams and Neymar at the Balmain Fashion Show in March. YEИDRY has continued to develop her brand and has featured in campaigns for Porche, DKNY, Puma and Zalando. YEИDRY is currently working on new music and will drop her much anticipated debut album in March 2023.
