The Network Will Offer a Sneak-Peak of Avril Lavigne’s Video During “Mean Girls 2”

Following the Movie Premiere, Viewers Can Go to ABCFamily.com to Watch the Full-Length Video

Burbank, CA (January 20, 2011) – ABC Family will present the U.S debut of Avril Lavigne’s latest music video entitled “What The Hell” as part of the network’s premiere of its upcoming two-hour movie, “Mean Girls 2,” on Sunday, January 23 at 8:00PM ET/PT. The original “Mean Girls,” starring Lindsay Lohan, will precede the premiere of “Mean Girls 2” at 6:00 - 8:00PMET/PT.

Viewers will be treated to a sneak peak at Avril’s new music video “What The Hell,” from her upcoming album Goodbye Lullaby, during the premiere of “Mean Girls 2.” The song was released last week as a digital single and immediately jumped to #2 on iTunes. After the movie, viewers will then be able to log onto www.abcfamily.com to see the full length video. The music video was directed by Marcus Raboy and was shot both in 2D and in 3D. Goodbye Lullaby will be in stores March 8, 2011. More information on Avril Lavigne and her new album can be found at http://www.rcamusicgrouppress.com/index.php?artist=Avril_Lavigne.

“Mean Girls 2” stars Meaghan Martin (“10 Things I Hate About You,” “Camp Rock 1 & 2”), Maiara Walsh (“Desperate Housewives”), Jennifer Stone (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Nicole Gale Anderson (“Make It or Break It””), Claire Holt (“H20: Just Add Water”) and Diego Boneta (“Pretty Little Liars”) in a classic high school story about good versus plastic. When new girl Jo (Martin) arrives at North Shore High School, her main goal is to skate under the radar to survive her senior year and definitely not get involved in any of the typical high school trappings. But her plan goes awry quickly when she meets Abby (Stone), a girl stuck at the low end of the high school food chain and favorite target of “The Plastics” (Walsh, Holt and Anderson). After defending Abby against the queen bee of the school and lead Plastic, Mandi (Walsh), Jo is dragged into the very same girl drama she was hoping to avoid. Tim Meadows returns as the school’s principal, Mr. Duvall.

JENNIFER HUDSON SET TO RELEASE SOPHOMORE ALBUM I REMEMBER ME ON MARCH 22

FIRST SINGLE “WHERE YOU AT,” PRODUCED BY R. KELLY, SERVICE TO RADIO JANUARY 24

I REMEMBER ME AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER AT WWW.JENNIFERHUDSON.COM ON JANUARY 24

[New York, NY – January 20, 2011] - Grammy and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will release her highly anticipated sophomore album I Remember Me on March 22 on Arista Records.  The album’s first single, “Where You At,” written and produced by R. Kelly, will be serviced to radio on January 24 (a 30-second snippet can be heard now at www.jenniferhudson.com).   The album is available for pre-order starting today on Jennifer’s website and purchasers will receive an exclusive early download of the debut single “Where You At” the week of January 24th.

The album title, I Remember Me, is based on a poem written by Jennifer and composed into a beautiful song co-written by Ryan Tedder that will be featured on the album. Additional writers and producers on the album include multi-award winners Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate.

“I’m excited about this album because it’s almost like a renewal for me, reflected through the chapters of my life,” comments Jennifer.  “I’ve called it ‘I Remember Me’because of the journey I’ve been on.  I’ve learned that life constantly surprises you, no matter your plans.  My fans have been so loyal, I feel like they have been on this journey with me and I can’t wait for them to hear the new album.”

Clive Davis, Chief Creative Officer, Sony Music Entertainment states: "Jennifer is the voice of the new generation and she literally soars on her second album ‘I Remember Me.’ Jennifer fulfills all of her promise and all of the prophesies that she will be on that short list of great vocalists of our time."

I Remember Me is the follow up to Jennifer’s 2008 eponymous debut album, which featured the hit singles “Spotlight” and “If This Isn’t Love.”  Jennifer Hudson debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and won a Grammy in 2009 for Best R&B Album.
