His now Grammy nominated 2023 album Timeless (out via Sony Music UK/RCA Records) holds the prestigious title of being the biggest African album in Apple Music history, captivating audiences worldwide with its first day streaming records and currently has garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide across all platforms. His hit single “UNAVAILABLE” feat. Musa Keys has amassed over 98 million streams on Spotify alone and in addition, he performed the single (and “FEEL”) on Colbert this year. Davido also recently sat down with Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show and with ABC News Live Prime.

The festival was conceived to promote and foster cultural exportation and collaboration between Africa and the world. Davido’s level of collaboration with U.S based artists over the years has positioned him as a unique bridge between Africa and the world, a mantle that he has carried proudly.
The demand for African music, fashion and culture worldwide has restored a sense of pride to Africans everywhere with most yearning for a deeper connection with home, Davido reflectingly asks ‘Are We African Yet?’, are we willing to claim our heritage and our culture.
