[Los Angeles, CA – October 27, 2023] Today, LA-based electronic duo Lost Kings mark their return with their brand-new single, “Dreams” featuring Frawley out now via Disruptor Records/RCA Records – listen here.
Filled with whimsical synths, exhilarating bass and the smooth vocal assist from buzzing singer-songwriter Frawley, “Dreams” marks the duo’s return after the release of last year’s singles “Wonderlust,” “I DO” featuring Slush Puppy, “Save Me” featuring Kiddo A.I and “Under The Influence” with Jordan Shaw.
Earlier this month, Rob shared an update of what fans can expect and opened up about his recent struggles since losing his father from covid, stating “I lost excitement in everything and buried my face in a bottle. The more time went on, the less connected I felt to music. Nick held it down for us for while I was hurting but it was too much to ask. Over the last year I finally sought help and am now a year sober and finally back on the right track. And with that the passion for our music is back. We’ve been in the studio creating and just enjoying the process of being back together. That excitement we feel like is really carrying over into the music and we’re so happy to see where this new creative energy is taking us. ‘Dreams’ is the first song we worked on when we got back into the studio together, it’s really one of the most important songs to us because we were in a very dark place for years and this song represents us coming out of that place.”
Consisting of Rob Gainley and Nick Shanholtz, Lost Kings have risen through the ranks as prominent producers within the electronic music space amassing over one billion streams across their catalog. Since releasing their first single, “Bad” in 2015, the duo have released numerous singles and remixes, as well as several EPS – including Paper Crowns and Lost Angeles in 2019, as well as their latest It’s Not You, It’s Me in 2021 – in addition to collaborating with some of music’s biggest names including Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Ferg, Ty Dolla $ign, Mod Sun, Loren Gray, Marc E. Bassy, GASHI and more. The duo have been seen across North America with standout performances at Coachella, Electric Zoo, Lollapalooza and in addition to selling out major markets across the states with their most recent I Think I Think Too Much Tour earlier this year.
New Jersey-born and Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Frawley has captivated a growing audience with her skyscraping delivery and eloquent songcraft, racking up over 100 million streams and counting. Singing straight from the heart, Frawley tunes into raw emotion with such clarity that you can practically see the stories in her songs unfold right in front of you. She ignited her own breakthrough with 2021’s “No One Can Fix Me.” It sparked a trend on social media, which translated to DSPs with millions of streams. She maintained this buzz with “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” in 2022, reeling in another 30 million Spotify streams. Along the way, she established herself as a singer-songwriter, sought-after collaborator, and vocal producer.
